DELIVERY TO THE ACOUSTICS LABORATORY

Procedure

Deliveries (Figures 1-2) are made to the sidewalk and transported into the laboratory using pallet jacks.

There is no weather-protected loading dock or temporary storage area available. Therefore, the supplier must notify the laboratory by phone 1-2 hours in advance of the estimated delivery time.

Lifting of heavy items

As a general rule, the client is responsible for delivering the items to ground level and transporting them indoors using their own equipment, as well as removing them after testing, unless otherwise agreed in the quotation. The laboratory has only two pallet jacks available, with fork lengths of 2000 mm and 1200 mm.

For lifting large and/or heavy deliveries or pallets, the client must ensure that the delivery vehicle is equipped with a tail lift or crane.

Additional information

It is not permitted to leave freight or personal vehicles in front of the building except during loading/unloading. For parking, we recommend the parking space located across the street (Figure 3).
